How long have you been doing this and how did you get to be a wedding planner?

I have been in the hospitality industry for over 30 years, beginning in culinary school, leading me to running restaurants and large catering companies. Ambiance was born in 2014 from a need to service my network of clients.

Will I still have some control over my wedding if I hire your team as my planner?

Of course! It’s your day, and we are here to help make your day the way you dreamed it. We are your guides, here to deliver you to your picture-perfect day.

Do you take on more than one wedding per day?

My team is part of many events each week, but if you book the Designer Division with April, you get me!

Who is not going to benefit from your help with planning their wedding?

Someone who cannot let go of the execution of the day. You hire us as professionals to be able to take your vision and execute it. If you can’t do that, then we are not going to be a good fit.

We’re getting married in Kansas but live in another state. Can you still help us?

Yes!

Do you do destination weddings?

Yes! We have been to the Bahamas, Colorado, Hawaii and Mexico.

Is there anything else we should know about you?

I love to travel the world! So I do spend time away from the office. But my team is always here to help.

How do you charge for services?

I have a few options – Packages, consulting and custom planning. My month of packages begin at $3500 and go up from there based on the level of our involvement.

Do you have people to assist with setup, etc.?

Yes, one assistant comes with all Ambiance packages. Extra hands come at an additional rate.

What are your primary areas of expertise?

I am a logistics pro. Flow, layout, timelines make the day perfect. But my sweet spot is one and only’s – where your event is unique to you and your vision. No cookie cutters here!

What will the planning process look like? How many meetings will we have, and how will we be involved?

This all depends on our relationship and what your needs will be.

How do you prefer to communicate?

Email is my favorite way to communicate. But in person would be my second favorite. I do not prefer texting but understand sometimes it’s needed.

Do you work with LGBTQ couples?

Of course!!

Do you provide day of coordination?
