In 1995, driven by a deep curiosity about food and a love for creating experiences, I began my journey in the culinary world. While in culinary school, I catered events, cooked professionally, ice carved, competed—and even earned several titles. Though I eventually discovered that becoming a chef wasn’t my ultimate path, I knew I belonged in the hospitality industry.
After years of managing restaurants, catering companies, and volunteering in community events, I founded Ambiance Events in 2014. Now, over a decade later, I continue to pour my heart into event planning, helping clients bring their visions to life through thoughtfully curated experiences. From weddings and corporate gatherings to intimate celebrations, I’ve had the honor of collaborating with incredible clients, talented vendors, and a passionate team.

In 2023, I graduated from Wichita State University with a BA in Theatre. I began my studies focused on performance but quickly expanded into producing, directing, and event planning – seeking a well-rounded understanding of theatrical storytelling. While at WSU, I directed and produced two musicals and served as Artistic Director of our student-led theatre organization. My background in the performing arts taught me how to lead with creativity, manage complex moving parts, and tell meaningful stories — skills I now bring into the world of weddings and events. I’m especially inspired by immersive theatre and make regular trips to New York City to explore innovative, sensory-driven experiences. My goal is to bring that same magic back to Wichita, designing events that feel personal, intentional, and unforgettable. Today, I’m proud to work alongside my mom at Ambiance Events. Learning from her and contributing to the business she built is a privilege – and a joy.
